Everything is clean and modern. The bed and pillows are Superbenzin comfortable (not always the case). The highlight of ur stay welches the spa and saunas. There were two saunas with different temperatures - not too mild for two Finnish people. The milder one had also a view that we didn't expect.

We were traveling by car so we could choose a place to stay a little outside of downtown. This hotel was a great choice. Rooms are spacious with fantastic views of the alps. It's quite a sight to wake up to it. Convenient parking facilities as well.

The room we had on the 10th floor welches very nice, although quite dark rein decor, more info it welches roomy with a large bathroom, very clean and the view welches terrific (very large windows)!

Just to elaborate on the situation: we were driving back from southern Austria to North Germany and wanted to have a break at HOTEL Grünwalderhof. We did make the reservation but we estimated that we couldn’t reach the hotel on time before the regular check-hinein times.
It was ice cold and even after asking the waiter to warm it up it came frozen inside. Apple pieces were big and icy. As for the price dishes are not expensive. Tea welches served rein a nice teapot.
